Peer Mentoring
The Peer Mentoring project offers support to young people facing issues from bullying to anxiety. Peer mentors are trained young people equipped with the skills to offer support and signposting to young people their own age. While many young people who are facing social exclusion, bullying, or mental health problems, may not feel comfortable approaching teachers or other adults for support, engaging with someone their own age can enable them to talk on an informal basis and can ensure that they are given the support they need.

If you are aged 14-21 and are interested in becoming a Peer Mentor, or would like to refer a young person to the Peer Mentoring project, please email lindsay@wycombeyouthaction.co.uk to receive your application form.

WYA also delivers a range of short-term projects designed to work with young people to develop specific areas of skills. In the past we have delivered projects on conservation, employability, video production, and improving self-esteem.
